Fiona James has announced she will be racing in the European GT4 Series for team Academy Motorsport racing alongside experienced Pro driver, Matt Nicoll-Jones.

Fiona James is very pleased to announce she will be taking the big step up in her racing career, entering back into GT cars.

Racing alongside Pro driver Matt Nicoll-Jones, the pair will be competing in an Aston Martin Vantage GT4 under team Academy Motorsport. The Aston Martin Vantage in its stunning Walero livery will be visiting some of the worlds most iconic circuits, as the series visits Nurburgring, Brands Hatch, Spa-Francorchamps and many more. Fiona has previously raced in GT cars but she acknowledges this is a big step up in her racing career and one she is certainly looking forward too. 

Fiona said:

“I’m really excited to be racing with Matt in the GT4 Aston Martin Vantage, & am looking forwards to progressing with his help. It’s a big step up to be racing in European GT4 but I’m really looking forwards to the challenge!”

Ahead of testing that has commenced in Portimão, Matt has stated:

“I am excited to be joined by Fiona for this season. Fiona is a very talented driver who gives her all, and I think it is incredibly important especially after taking a big step up. Fiona has proven she has got the qualities for this step up, and I am excited for what the season holds”.
